Number of Application for UPSC 2009

Approx 4 lakhs candidates had applied for UPSC Civil Services Examination 2009. This number is 42% more then last year applications. Government has increased the vacancies 100% more then last year.
UPSC PT examination will be 17th may 2009 on various Examination Centres of India.
