Applications are invited from eligible candidates for engagement as Data Entry Operator (DEO) on Outsourcing Basis for various offices/units under Indian Railways in Bihar and Jharkhand.
The engagement is purely temporary and contractual through an authorized outsourcing agency. This engagement will not confer any right for regular appointment in Indian Railways.

Contract Period: Initially 11 months (extendable based on performance)
2. Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent from a recognized Board.
Preference will be given to candidates possessing Certificate/Diploma in Computer Applications from a recognized institute.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Knowledge of data management and office automation tools.
Age Limit:
Minimum: 18 years
Maximum: 40 years
3. Remuneration
Consolidated monthly remuneration: ₹24,000/- (as per outsourcing norms).
No additional allowances or benefits are admissible.
4. Nature of Duties
Data entry and record maintenance.
Handling office correspondence and documentation.
Maintaining digital records and reports.
Assisting officers in administrative tasks.
Any other work assigned by the competent authority.
5. Selection Process
Shortlisting based on educational qualification and experience.
Document Verification.
No TA/DA will be paid for attending the selection process.
7. General Instructions
The engagement is purely on a contractual basis through outsourcing.
The selected candidates shall have no claim for regularization in Indian Railways.
The contract may be terminated at any time without prior notice if performance is unsatisfactory.
